The Briercliffe Society monthly meetings are held at Briercliffe Community Centre, Jubilee Street, Harle Syke at 7-30pm on the second Monday of the month.
The Briercliffe Society Local History Group meetings are held at Haggate School, Burnley Road, Briercliffe at 7pm on the last Wednesday of the month between September and May with the exception of December.
The Quiz Night, is arranged by Barbara Holsgrove and is a "fun event" but "prizes" will be awarded for both winners and those who have the least points. It will be a good night. Bring your friends.

Weather permitting, Roger Frost will lead a tour of the village of Lane Bottom. Meet at the car park at Haggate Church at 6:50pm so that arrangements can be made to set off for Lane Bottom. If the weather is inclement we will have a historical talk at Haggate.

Mr. Arthur Parker will present an illustrated talk entitled "On a Firm Foundation" which is the story of his family firm of building contractors. J & A Parker, who had premises at 7, Hall Street in Burnley constructed a number of very well known buildings in the town. The firm has early origins and a lot of their buildings have survived. An interesting evening, which starts at 7:30pm, is anticipated. Entry includes refreshments. Everyone welcome.

"Life as a Redcoat" is a talk which will be given by Mrs. D. Ellis. As the name implies the talk will be about the "Hi De Hi" holiday camp life of not all that many years ago. Refreshments are included in the price. Everyone Welcome.
