Duerden Family

Back row left to right - Richard Duerden born 1874 he married Nancy Pickles in 1894. Then James Duerden born 1871 (my paternal great grandfather) he married Sabina Hudson (also born in Briercliffe) on 18 Feb 1893. Their Golden wedding is referred to on the website. Then there is Grace born in 1880 - she never married and died in 1942. Then William Thomas Duerden who married Sarah Robertshaw in 1899 and who was the father of Dorothy Duerden born 1905 head teacher at Haggate. On the front row left to right is William Duerden born 1849, Jane Duerden born 1876 she married William Watson in 1905., and Ann Duerden nee Kilburn.
