Jack Halstead

1916 - 2009

Jack Halstead, contributor to the photo section of this site, has finally received his medals for services in WWII. Despite his humble opinion that he 'was just a cook and didn't deserve a medal', his daughter Sue went ahead and hunted them down. Sue presented the display she had done for a very delighted Jack.
Sue wishes to say a big thank you to Leaver, a member of our forum, for his help in locating these medals.

Jack sadly passed away in August 2009.
