I'm giving up on this one. We don't know which county the parents came from and there's no freebmd for Scotland so you can't even try looking for a birth and working forward.

I have searched and searched in the past but not found any connection, I don't know where my Auntie could have got the info from, I do know that they all lived in the same village of Worsthorne at the same time, but other than that, dont think I will ever know.

Cant say that I recognise Fedora Bennett's name Kris, thanks for having a look for me, it would'nt even help me if I sent for their marriage cert would it, the relationship, if any, could be a very distant one to my family. Oh! well never mind. :|

I did wonder if the connection was through Fedora Bennett, but I cannot find a census for her so don’t know if she was from the Worsthorne area.

Maybe this will be a back burner until the release of the 1911 census? (Which should be started next year :D )

Did anyone find anything for Fedora? I had a look before I went out but failed.

I tried for censuses and births. The only thing I came up with was the marriage Kris already got. I even tried Fedora without a surname.

I found 3 Dora Bennetts of the right age on the 1891 & 1901 censuses, 1 in London, 1 in Bristol and 1 in Hyde which is t'other side of Manchester. Ther wern't any clues tho as to which might be the right one.
