Gained His “Wings”
PILOT OFFICER JOHN BRIDGE.
A former member of the Lancashire County Constabulary, has gained his wings in South Africa. Aged 27, he is a son of Mr. James Bridge and the late Mrs. Bridge, of 6, Cleaver street, Burnley, and his wife resides at 21, Claughton-street. An old boy of the Burnley Grammar School, he joined the R.A.F. almost two years ago and went abroad about a year ago. He is now a Wings Commission instructor.
