Mrs. Kenyon, of 68, Station-road, Padiham, received an official communication on Friday night from Alexandria, through the War Office, that her husband, Pte. M. Kenyon, of the 5th East Lancashire Regiment is reported wounded and missing. He is 26 years of age, and joined the Territorials shortly after the outbreak of war. Before the war he was a labourer at Simonstone Paper Mill. The last letter his wife received from him was on August 4th. He has a brother in the Army.
