Military Funerals

There have been two military funerals at the Burnley Cemetery during the past week. The first was that of the private of the Hussars who shot himself immediately after the arrival of the squadron in Burnley. The second was that of Sergeant Richardson of the Fifth Royal Lancashire Militia, who died at the Militia Barracks on Sunday last. A number of the 45th Regiment of Foot formed the firing party on the occasion.
