I have just been speaking to a relative about a gt gt uncle of mine. He was gassed in the First World War and when he came home he kept having something like epileptic fits. His wife couldn't cope with this and he went back to live with his mother. This poor lady (his mother) had already had the trauma of losing her husband in the Morecambe Bay disaster, and then to have this happen to one of her sons. There must have been thousands like this. |

My uncle was gassed in the First World War, and he had coughs and chest problems for the rest of his life. He did live to be 65, but not with good health. Joan |
