6285440 Sergeant Frank H Chesson parachute regiment AAC 10th Bn.

Can anyone give me information on my fathers uncle please?

He was a policeman in the Palestine police force before WW2

He also may have been in the long-range desert group &

Was Major-general Roy Urquhart's body guard before operation market garden.

Franks medals are in the parachute regiments museum at Aldershot apparently.

Thank you Shaun.

You might find police records at the National Archives, Kew http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/
