82469 Private Hartley Heap, son of Hartley and Sarah Heap (Driver) of Hollin Hall Farm, Marsden Height. Served in the Machine Gun Corps and was wounded in France on 21/09/1917. He married Mary Jane Uttley on 05/10/1912 at Wheatley Chapel according to the Rites of the Inghamites. He and his family resided at 5,Height Croft, Brierfield. He was discharged from the Edinburgh War Hospital and the Army on 20/04/1918 as being no longer fit for War Service. He had two children Harry born 1912 and John B born 1917.

No sorry - Have only just "discovered" him. His parents are in Haggate which gave me the lead

I'm mistaken Peter. It's Hartley Howarth that I have info on.

I have checked through all of the stuff I have here and there is nothing at all on Hartley Heap - Sorry.

Have you looked at the service info on Ancestry? Is there anything there for Hartley?
