It just looks as though it is on a wooden hut door.

I have to do a forum update (well, Kev does) so we may go offline for a short while later on today.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Cancelled for today as Kev has a lot on. Possibly tomorrow.

Kev will be doing the upgrade for me this afternoon so the forum will be offline for a shortwhile.

Update was attempted but didn't go well. Nothing has been lost but it may mean we go offline again at some point.

The best thing the failed update appears to have done is to improve the anti-spam settings. We were getting maybe a dozen or more spam registrations per day. The majority never got past the confirmation area but the odd one or two did and we were getting posts for drugs and allsorts. Kris and I have been monitoring as closely as physically possibly and deleting the offenders and their posts as soon as we could. I think we can relax a little for now but I'm sure they will find their way in again at some point.

A lot of it is computer generated but someone had to write the program in the first place.
I often wonder if they ever make any money out of it as I don't know anyone who does or even would respond to them. It's the same sort of stuff that arrives in your inbox (or junkmail folder in my case) on a frequent basis

I haven't managed to get on here for what feels like ages - wedding preparations seem to have taken over my life (not complaining tho).
What I did notice is that Gloria seems to have joined the ranks of the techies. No offence Gloria, but how on earth did that happen?
