The Leeds Mercury

Saturday February 14 1829

On the 1st. inst. Mrs. Redihalgh, of Burnley, was safely delivered of two daughters and a son, the same lady having had twins (a boy and a girl) last March.

And only 11 months between them! Five children under 1 - unimaginable.

Very fertile! Think how mnany pregnancies women had back then too!!

I wonder how many of the five children survived to grow up - and how long their mother lived. I haven't managed to identify them in the 1841 Census.
