What about John (1806) who married Mary Jackson? Was this maybe a daughter born before they were married?

ps This John also had a daughter, Betty, who married James's brother Lawrence. Betty is a witness at the marriage you've posted

I can't find Ann Jackson 1841, and by that time she could have been old enough to be living away from her parents. Nor can I find her & James after the marriage.

I kept coming up with that one, and I'm sure I found other years as well under a different spellin (Emmott or Emmet or something like that) but I couldn't find a death for Ann. I just wanted to find Ann's age to see whether it was possible she was Mary Jackson's illegitimate daughter.
