Lancashire Marriage indexes for the years: 1867 LEAVER William SIMPSON Mary Burnley Register Office or Registrar Attended Records at Preston RM/24/136 This couple are on the 1871 census at Holt Hill (see Leavers censuses under P1 of "what's in a name?") along with Mary's father and a child, Mary aged 1. William's age is given as 50. I believe he is the son of James (1798) and Betty Nuttall. |
