Wonder why they got married in Burnley. Both Cuerden and Shawhill are in Whittle-le-Woods near Chorley. Only a stones throw from each other. |

The Parkers of Cuerden would be closely related to those of Extwistle. Rex |

I believe they were Rex, but don't see why they didn't get married nearer home. Unless after her father died she went to live with the Extwistle branch of the family. |
