Is this James Leaver (1830-1902) who married Mary Halstead (1841-1924), son of Abraham Leaver (1800-1863) and Elizabeth Whitehead (1807-)? |

Sorry Kris -I wasn't ignoring you, just having major reconstruction work on my laptop. I'm pretty sure you're right about which James it is. I got the marriages from the parish records at the LRO. |

Yes it is On James Leaver's second marriage certificate James is described as widower which led me on to find his first marriage to Elizabeth Hitchon 25th Dec 1851. witnesses were Levi Todd and John Leaver. Elizabeths father signed/declared as John Clegg a joiner. St John's Worsthorne Graham |
