Sudden Deaths

On Thursday, the 23rd ult., Mr. George Barnes, senior partner in the firm of Messrs. George Barnes and Brothers, spinners and manufacturers, died at his residence, in Hall-street, Burnley. He returned from Lytham the day before, and in a few hours afterwards was seized with a stroke, which terminated in his death. He was in his 58th year. He was interred at St. Peter's Church, on Thursday morning last. The funeral was attended by the leading members, &c., connected with the Wesleyan Society in Burnley.
