Death of Mrs. Kippax.- Another death, following an attack of influenza, took place on Tuesday. Reference is made to Mrs. Kippax, wife of Mr. W. Kippax, newsagent, of Queen-street. The deceased, who was in her 40th year, had been ill for about a fortnight. Acute bronchitis followed influenza, and heart trouble ensued, bringing about the end as stated. Mrs. Kippax leaves a widower and four children. The funeral took place yesterday (Friday) at Haggate.

The Late Mrs. Kippax.- The death occurred last week at the home of her son, 48, Queen-street, of Mrs. Jane Kippax, widow of the late Mr. William Kippax. She was 68 years of age, and was well known and respected in the district. Mrs. Kippax, who was a member of Hill Lane Baptist Chapel, had been failing in health for about twelve months. The funeral took place on Saturday at Haggate. There were many beautiful tributes.

Late Mr. W. Kippax.- The death took place on Monday of Mr. Wilfred Kippax, of 41, Burnley-road, Harle Syke. Born in Lane Bottom 68 years ago, he had lived in the district all his life. He was employed as a taper at Walshaw Mill up to having a serious accident 34 years ago. Latterly he had been employed as a weaver by Messrs. Thornton and Co. The funeral takes place to-morrow at the Haggate Burial Ground.

Mrs M. A. Kippax

Last Thursday the remains were laid to rest in the family vault in Haggate Baptist burial ground of Mrs. Martha Ann Kippax. Born at Cockden, Mrs. Kippax had resided in the Harle Syke district, and all her life she had been connected with Hill-lane and Haggate Baptist Chapels. She leaves a husband, two sons and three daughters. Her son Eric is a popular member of the Blackpool Police Force. Her eldest son is serving in the Royal Artillery. The Rev. H. Hough offered prayers at the home and also officiated at the chapel and graveside, assisted by Mr. W. Thornber. Arrangements by H. and R. Clegg, Ltd., Bull-street.
