OBITUARY
MRS. M, KITCHIN
Mrs. May Kitchin, of 12, Granville-street, Harle Syke, took place in the burial ground, Haggate, on Wednesday. Born in Barrow-in-Furness 70 years ago, she lived with her husband in Ulverston and Newby Bridge before coming to this district about 35 years ago. Her husband, who was skipper of one of the Windermere Lake steamers, died about 30 years ago. Mrs. Kitchin was a keen musician, and was organist at the Wesleyan Chapel, Ulverston, for many years. She leaves a son and daughter, both married. Mr. W. E. Thornber carried out the last rites; J. Atkinson had charge of the funeral arrangements.
