Has anybody a record of a John Beaumont being buried between 1861 & 1871. In Hudderfield or Burnley.
He is listed on the 1861 Cencus age 27 with wife Ann and daughter Helina/Helena but in 1871 his wife is listed as widow with a daughter age 10 and a son age 8.

There are several possibilities on the Death indexes for Huddersfield and unfortunately, age wasn't recorded until the mod 1860's.

Thanks for the reply
I have searched the BMD site and that dosnt find anything in fact John Beaumonts only occur twice during 1861 1871 and in other parts of the country.
The wife and children appear on two following Cencuses before the Son is listed as married and living in Burnley.

Which bmd site did you use? I used Findmypast's index. I saw at least 5 for Huddersfield and stopped looking at that point.

I tried Ancestry & found a couple. There was a burial at Kirkheaton, near Huddersfield, 15/1/1863. John Beaumont, weaver aged 34 years. Address Highgate Lane in what looks like Lepton. Age isn't a marvellous match tho.
Also, freebmd 2nd qr 1862. Huddersfield 9a p194

It seems that they did not list Proffessions on FreeBMD so its difficult to tie any one John down as the most likley one. I have found these:-
Possibles after Nov 1861 Frank the son born July/Sept Quarter 1862
1862 Mar 9a 194, Dec 9a 183
1863 Mar 9a 252, Mar 9a 244
1864 Mar 9a 260, Dec 9a [12] 72, Dec 9a 227
1865 Mar 9a 240, Dec 9a 261
