Kris/Maureen, have either of you any idea where Abraham and his wife might be buried? There's nothing so far for Haggate but I don't think it can be ruled out completely yet.

Sorry Mel, I don't know. I don't think Kris will either as we swap new information between us, but I'm sure he'll check anyway.
Abraham was born at Monk Hall and died at Extwistle Hall so I can't see him having gone far to be buried.

I have had a query for Kris on the emails that I have forwarded to him but one of the queries the gentleman has is the whereabouts of Abraham Leaver.

I've not heard from Kris for a few days so thought I'd pop the query here.

Abraham's wife (Elizabeth, k/a Betty) died in 1885, almost certainly in Briercliffe. I would say it'd be easier to track down her burial than his, being more recent.
If anyone does find their burial place it goes without saying that we'd be interested to know. Kris & Ben are directly descended from Abraham's brother John.
