That surprises me Stephanie. My mum has recently been seeing 2 different consultants for different ailments - her records get transported from one hospital to the other. They are both within Stoke on Trent though...don't know if that makes a difference?

Quite possibly, Mine is between 2 different health authorities, still strange though dont you think?

There was a law passed was'nt there in about 1995ish that allowed you to read your medical notes, but only from the date that the law came into being not from any earlier.
