Mr. John Arthur Blackburn, of Briercliffe, Burnley, Lancashire, farmer, left £33,861 gross, £33,442 net (duty paid, £7,042). He left personal legacies and half the residue equally between the R.N.L.I., N.S.P.C.C., Dr. Barnardos’s Homes, British Empire Cancer Campaign, and the Burnley Council of Social Service.
