1917 – NUTTALL Fred of 18 Tennyson street, Briercliffe near Burnley, Private H.M. Army, died 7 march 1917 in France. Administration (with Will) London 12 December to Agnes Nuttall, widow. Effects £395 15s. 2d.

Is that unusual for a soldier to have a will of this kind? I thought they had to carry their 'will' with them at all times.
