Of John Catlow late of Burnley in the county of Lancaster Gentleman deceased who died 31st July 1863 at Burnley aforesaid was proved at Lancaster by the oath of James Folds the younger of Burnley aforesaid cotton spinner the surviving executor.

1957 - CATLOW Fortescue of 4 Newton street Burnley died 30 March 1957 Probate Oxford 5 June to Vincent Catlow weaver. Effects £1,345 12s. 3d.

CATLOW Richard Barnes, 27 June Administration of the Effects of Richard Barnes Catlow late of the city of Manchester Provision Dealer a Bachelor who died 8th April 1852 at the said city left un-administered by Nancy Elliot widow the mother and only next of kin was granted at Chester to Mary Ann Greenhalgh of 86 Abbey Street, Accrington in the county of Lancaster widow the sister. Former Grant consistory court Chester June 1852.

If my file is correct, Isaac was the son of Jonathan Catlow and Jane Sutcliffe of Barrowford. Jane descends from my Heptonstall line.

Jonathan, father of Isaac. I believe Jane died in August 1881 and is buried at St Thomas' in Barrowford.

Really surprised to find this on the Internet. Bertha Catlow was my great-grandmother. I am the grand-daughter of Gladys and Tom, but also the great-niece of Jane Simpson, wife of Noel Leaver. Virginia Quigley (nee Simpson).
