If you have any pictures of the area that you wouldn't mind submitting, I'd be very grateful. They will, of course, bare your name.
I'm hoping to add a picture archive to the main site before too long and maybe a section on the forum for users to upload their own (although I have to figure out how to make this possible!).

Mel what a great site I only joined today and have found my husbands GtGtGt Grandfathers marriage in 1823 at St Bartholomews Colne and his wifes maiden name on the church records.What with this site and OGFB when will I have time to work. Sues

Welcome Sues, you are the first success story. The St Bartholomews records are only surnames I was interested in at the time I viewed them. Some 50 pages of records for 4 or 5 specific surnames. I will eventually go back and take note of all surnames but for the time being, they are obviously helping!

I must be going blind------where are the St Barts records on here????? :?:
Found it, thought they were all Briercliffe, put in one of my St Barts and up it came. I'd be dangerous with a brain :D

On the main site Gloria. There are only a few marriages for now, only certain surnames too. If memory serves me the names I was looking for were Sutcliffe, Wilkinson, Stansfield, Holt and Brown.

The title at the top of the forum is a link back now.
