Suidice By Hanging
On the forenoon of Wednesday last, Sutcliffe Lupton, of Lane Bridge, a weaver, aged thirty-nine years, hanged himself in his bedroom. He was first discovered by his wife, at forty minutes past twelve, suspended by two handkerchiefs, from the ceiling over his bed. He was immediately cut down, and medical aid was called in, but life was found to be extinct. The poor fellow had been suffering from illness for a considerable time previous to committing the fatal act whch terminated his worldly sufferings.
