Motors In collision
A slight motor collision occurred at the corner of Belvedere-road on saturday afternoon. Joseph Atkinson, 34, Clegg-street, Brierfield, was reversing a motor car owneds by James McCleary, 31a, Sackville-street, Brierfield, when another car driven by Dr. Courtney, 47, Thursby-road, came along from the direction of Queen's Park-road. The vehicles came in contact, and both were slightly damaged, but there were no personal injuries.
Death of Mrs. Emma Catlow
Many residents in the Gannow district will learn with regret of the death of Mrs. Emma Catlow, widow of Mr. James Catlow, who predeceased her three years ago. Mrs. Catlow, who was 63 years of age, was an inmate of the colonel Slater Homes at Lanehead. Her death followed an operation. she was of a most genial disposition and her demise will be regretted by a large circle of friends in the Gannow and Harle Syke districts.
