Found Dead in Bed
Retired Farmers Sudden End at Burnley
A verdict of "Death from natural causes" was returned at an inquest at Burnley on Monday on the body of Lonsdale Sutcliffe (64), retired farmer, 5, Cog Square.
It was stated that Sutcliffe had suffered from bronchitis for some time, but had not received medical attention. On Saturday noon Patrick Webster, of 159, Accrington-road, Burnley, called at the house, but could not obtain any answer to his inquiries. Mr. Walker, a joiner, effected an entrance through the bedroom window, and found Sutcliffe lying dead in bed.
Dr. Clegg was called in, and said that death was probably due to bronchitis and heart failure.
