Another Loos Victim
Burnley Collier Now Presumed Dead
Pte. James Henry Bullen, of the Scottish Rifles, whose relatives live in Calder Vale-road, Burnley, has now been officially presumed to have been killed on Sept. 25, 1915, at the battle of Loos. The soldier, who had previously been posted as missing, was aged 21 years when he enlisted in November, 1914. He had worked as a collier at Hapton Valley Pit.
