Suicide
On Monday evening last, John Perego, a groom in the employ of Mr. C. Towneley, at Habergham Eaves, was discovered hanging by the neck in a loft over the saddle house. The deceased, who had been in Mr. Towneley's service five years, had been to Burnley on business for his master in the morning, and had properly executed the commissions entrusted to him. No cause has been assigned for the act.
