Inquest
An inquest was held at the New Sparrow Hawk Inn, in Burnley, on Thursday last, on view of the body of Margaret Ann Clegg, aged eighteen months. The deceased and a little boy, the son of a neighbour, went out of the house of her parents, on Monday afternoon last, to play. In a short time the boy returned without the deceased, and, on search being made for her, she was found in a tub of water in the yard, having fallen in head foremost. She was quite dead when found. Verdict - "Accidental death by drowning."
