Sessions Business
At the Court-house, Burnley, on Monday, before L.Stansfield, J.Heelis, and J.Roberts, Esqs., Thomas Hartley and Brian Hodgeon, for riding without reins, were ordered to pay costs. John Cryer, carter, Ightonhill, was fined 10s. and costs for leaving his cart in the road. Margaret Turner fined 1s. and costs for an assault on Caroline Mcleod, and in default to be committed to Preston House of Correction (out of which she had but just come) for fourteen days.
