The grant of 600l. from the manchester Central Committee was acknowledged as a gift for clothing, and a resolution was adopted to vayr the relief according to the number of family. The clothing committee recommended that the clothing and bedding should be distributed as loans on a scale of 3s. per head, each article being stamped to prevent its sale. The recommendation was carried. It was reported that 842 blankets had been purchased for 344l. 3s. 2d., and that tenders had been received for a supply of clogs.
