Saturday 12 November 1864

Drowned In A Lodge

On Sunday, William Heap, carter to Messrs. Helliwell and Sons, bobbin turners, Cliviger Mill, was accidentally drowned in the lodge adjoining the works, and within a few yards of his own door. He was thirty years of age, and has left a wife and three children.
