Boy Scalded To Death

On Monday last an inquest was held at the Drake public-house, Colne, on view of the body of James Driver, aged about three years. It appeared that last Tuesday week the deceased was playing near to a deep channel, dwn which hot water flows from a dye house close by, when he fell in, and was much scalded. Medical assistance was called in, but he died on the Friday following. Verdict, "Accidental death."
