Order reduced

Frederick Duerden, weaver, 12 Cuerdale-street applied at the Burnley Police court, on Wednesday, for a reduction of the maintenance order of 25s. a week granted to his wife, Emma Duerden, Church-street, Harle Syke, in November, 1924. The wife admitted that she was in a better position financially to-day than when the order was made, by reason of the income she was receiving from three of her children, but she expected that income being reduced soon by the departure of one of her children. -
Duerden denied that he was keeping a second house going. -The order was reduced to 20s. -
Mr. Britnell represented the husband, and Mr. J. cummings appeared for the wife.
