I wasn't really sure where to post this but as it is related to an historical event, I thought papers past might be the best option.

I was contacted recently to request permission to use an image that is on the main site. I always ask that we receive a link, where possible, to its use. The resulting video was not at all what I expected although I knew it was to be used in a video.

Just 3 days after Christmas, in December 1909, the lifeless body, of a 3 year old boy, lay brutalised in a lonely field in the lancashire town of Burnley, subjected to the most horrific and sadistic attack, for no reason at all, John Collins, a 3 year old Burnley Boy was brutally murdered by Joseph Wren.

This is his story.
