I saw this will and thought the address was rather interesting. Perhaps it will help someone.

1882 – LEVER, Thomas
Personal Estate £173 11s. 3d.
20th February, the Will of Thomas Lever, late of Top o’ th’ Acre Farm, Little Lever in the County of Lancaster, farmer who died 10th August 1881 at Top o’ th’ Acre Farm. Was proved at Manchester by Hannah Sharples (wife of Thomas Sharples) of Top o’ th’ Acre Farm, the daughter, one of the executors.

hi a bit late to the party here but thank you for posting, it has indeed helped me...

my father lived on 71 booth road, almost right on top where of top o th acre farm was located and as kids we used to experience some dramatic ghostly occurrences in his flat so i was doing some research on this place and came across your post.

how did you find it?
