Hunters Oak Barn, at the bottom of Ightenhill Park Lane, has been put on the market for £3.25m.

The converted barn, one of the largest barn conversions in England, comprises seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, a cinema, leisure complex, swimming pool, gym and comes with 17 acres of land.

It belongs to Mr Andrew Connolly, of Accrington-based Connolly Demolition.

The property is on the market with Wilmslow estate agents Savills and director Mr Michael Chapman said he was certain the house was the most expensive of its kind in Burnley.

"It has only just come on the market and I don't think there will be any problems in selling it. The views are fantastic and there are even fishing rights for the River Calder," he said.
