Has anybody started watching the new 6 parter, Victorian Farm, it started last week, it is on BBC2 on Thursday's at 9pm for an hour. There are three people, a female historian and two male archaeologists and they are living and working on a farm as the Victorians did for one whole year. The first series showed them getting used to their surroundings and what would be expected of them. They have cleaned and done up the farmhouse, which has stood derelict for over 50 years. They are dressed as Victorians and living and working as Victorians, I found the first episode very enjoyable, and I am looking forward to the next one, I must say I feel a little envious of them having the opportunity to do this, bet it will be an eye opener for them though. Wonder how they felt when they had to leave and go back to the 21st centuary, bet it took some adjusting to, I will have to wait and see. I would recommend this as a good watch, give it a go.

We watched it. I thought the young woman was being a bit of an "actress", and the bed linen looked too good to be true. Very enjoyable though, well worth the view.
