Fraudulent emails are doing the rounds. I wouldn't normally give them a mention but these do look quite plausible. I received one myself earlier from a Briercliffe Society support 'email account'. As I deal with any Briercliffe Society email addresses, I know it to be dodgy.
It said
Dear user of the briercliffesociety.co.uk mailing service!
We are informing you that because of the security upgrade of the mailing service your mailbox (mel@briercliffesociety.co.uk) settings were changed. In order to apply the new set of settings click on the following link:
(There was a link at this point supplying supposed email account details.)
Best regards, briercliffesociety.co.uk Technical Support.You might receive something that reads along the lines above from your email provider, be it google or orange or BT.
These emails are bogus and part of a much wider “phishing” attempt; a common form of attack designed to get you to enter personal data.
You should delete any such emails as soon as they arrive and under no circumstances should you click on the link.
