Sue is off on her travels tomorrow, touring the US,

Have a great trip Sue. Hope you'll get the chance to pop in from time to time to let us know how it's going.

Oh...thanks! If you are interested I'd be happy to do a little report once in a while....don't want to bore you.
Mainly, now dad is gone, we can escape from the snow!
Leaving tomorrow morning and heading south through Michigan as fast as we can rumble along in a 38' motorhome! Still coolish, I expect. Hope to get to Ohio (Toledo) for night number 1. Should start to warm up a bit when we get to Kentucky...and certainly Tenessee.
Ultimate destination is Mesa, Arizona for December, January and February....then a nice meander back in time to see the last snow pile disappear from our driveway around the end of March!
Our house didn't sell yet....so budget is limited...but that's OK...I have a stack of books knee high to plough through...and lots of new people to meet!
I'll keep you posted.......
If any of you 'do' Facebook....I will have daily updates on it for family and friends...so feel free to connect as a 'friend'...Susan Kerr.

Cheers!

Got the wrong one but at least I got a nice response. Will keep trying.

Fairly sure I got her this time - with a rather dashing looking gentleman!

That sounds like it could be her? I have seen a pic of Sue with her hubby.

Maureen, Sue is in my friends list now. She found me. Is it the same one you have found?

Sue's Facebook status of early hours of today (UK time)

My hubby was reluctant to leave Kentucky....he was asked for ID when buying a six pack of beer! Go figure! Today drove 480 miles through Tennessee, past lots of cotton fields, past Nashville, through Memphis and over the Mississippi River to Marion, Arkansas, to camp for the night. Blowy night but the air is warmish. We think we will stay put for a second night...my old man is tired...

Sunny. Blowy. not snowing.....we will stay here one more night then head to M-I-doubleS-I-doubleS-I-doublP-I tomorrow...due south....then head west towards Dallas. So far, we have driven a grand total of 1949 miles in 4 days... Today, hubby is going to struggle to set up our satelite disc on its tripod in high winds. He may arrive in Dallas before me!!
