Lyndons partner won't make Vegas after all sue. Weather caused flight to be cancelled.

Gloria is currently offline but hopefully, not for much longer. She has been without internet since before Christmas. I don't think I would have coped!

Keep us up to date and travel safely! (Didn't know that about the bridge. Interesting titbit!)

I've read somewhere that the person who bought it thought he was getting Tower Bribge and was disappointed! But it's probably an urban myth

Had just logged in to see what had happened to Gloria. This answers my question. I'd have been in Calderstones by now if it were me.

Just had text from Gloria. She is still without net. She is waiting for new equipment still. Says she didn't realise just how much time she spends online. Think we could all say that!!

Sue's update

We have a car for a few days so went to an old goldmine which has been made into a 'living' museum...a little village of 100 year old stores, saloons, boarding houses...and the obligatory bordello...just like it was in "them thar gold diggin' days"! Then to Tortilla Flat where we listened to a fabulous band on the pati...o of an old saloon there for the afternoon! And had prickly pear cactus ice cream....yummy!

Yesterday took a drive to the Town of Carefree. A Wine and Fine Arts Festival in the town square, corner of Ho Hum Drive and Easy Street....I kid you not!. Very couth!!

Today took a drive to the Town of Casa Grande...another arts and craft festival in the historic downtown area....not as classy as yesterday, but I really enjoyed it! Looked at a really gorgeous RV Resort to keep in mind for possible future use!!

An update

Today Brenda Jane, Robert and I ate a fabulous meal at The Asylum Restaurant at the top of Mingus Mountain in Jerome, Arizona.......one of the most fascinating places around.

Woke up to snow today in Arizona......sigh

Even in the snow and on a very cloudy day the Grand Canyon is awesome!!!!!

Up anchor and away! Off to California this morning....should get there on Sunday - or Monday at the latest! We have enjoyed Arizona for the last 3 months, but time for a change! And I HAVE to see the ocean before we return to Canada!!!!
