I have booked a flight in April 2012 and will be attending the April meeting on the 24th. I have been dying to meet the rest of the regular meeting goers, as well as take some walks around memory lane. I am bringing my adult daughter, who has never been before, and is just starting to get really interested in her 'roots'......and my second cousin, who lives in Blackpool, also a Halstead.
Thought I would give everybody who lives further afield a heads-up IN CASE anyone is thinking of a trip sometime soon.....wouldn't it be great to gather from all corners of the world in this little locale ?? and put faces to names ??
I am very excited at the prospect of being 'home' again in Harle Syke.....
Should I bring welly-bobs??
