I've just watched the above. Quite enjoyable but I felt there was an element of falseness from some of the stars involved, just like in WDYTYA. Hope they make more of them though. This is one program I think I could watch. Has anyone else seen it?

We watched it, and enjoyed it. But, I agree about the element of falseness, but I suppose that is actors/actresses for you, and as in WDYTYA they weren't all as bad.
When we went to the talk at Preston on Workhouses, they weren't depicted as bad as this film depicted them, but that is the only time I have seen them shown as anything other than desperate places.

I'd be dangerous with a brain.
