From the 1871 census, the William Burrows in the grave with Mary Leaver, was her nephew. From 1901 census the other two in the grave look to be his wife and son.

Sorry Kris, I wasn't ignoring you just busy. At the moment I don't have him, I stuck to the ones with Briercliffe connections at first and only started branching out (no pun intended) recently.

Even if it isn't him I don't know why we haven't got this one. If it is him then he must have had 2 wives called Mary as he didn't marry Mary Whitaker till 1880 and the wife's age is wrong too.

There's a William Leaver married Mary Simpson 1867 on Lancashire bmd.

It's a posssibility, but I can't find (Mary Simpson) her on earlier censuses to try & check it out.

I just cant' find william 1826 before 1871.
