There are very few things I'd claim to be a master of, and genealogy's not one of them, but I got some hints on address searching from http://www.familytreeforum.com/wiki/ind ... ess_search - though I feel sure this is an elementary technique I should have mastered ages ago.

Despite Mel's disclaimer, I don't think there's much wrong with her brain, judging from the volume and quality of her contribution, and there are others not far behind. Not much sign of mental deterioration in this forum.

But keep doing the crosswords!
