I think Ida Sutcliffe, daughter of Mary Ann Cadwallader and Albert Sutcliffe, married Samuel Thornton Foster.

On one of the other threads, I am trying to work out how William Henry Leaver (1882-1960) is related to Willie Mason (1898-1976). This relationship is confirmed by Suzy Halstead. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2065

I might have a possible connection, here goes.

Willie Mason was the son of John William Mason (1867) and Mary Sutcliffe (1867 at Burnley).

William Henry Leaver married Elizabeth Ann Foster (1882-1966).

Elizabeth Ann Foster was the daughter of John Foster (1850-1910) and Sarah Unknown (1850-1925). John Foster and Sarah Unknown had a son, Ernest Foster (1878-1947), and Ernest married Susannah Whitaker (1879-1928).

Ernest and Susannah had a son, Samuel Thornton Foster (1906-1988), and I think that Samuel married Ida Sutcliffe, who I hope is related to Mary Sutcliffe, Mother of Willie Mason.

It’s a long winded way to be related, but it’s possible.
