I have a Robert Sutcliffe, son of William Sutcliffe and Sarah (Heap?) born 20 Mar 1815 at Burwaines.

I have all the census for him except 1841. He married in 1842 to Elisabeth Heap (of Holden Clough, Extwistle) at St Peters.

In 1851, he was living

This is a possible 1841 entry for Robert but I am not convinced. This Habergham Eaves Sutcliffe family has absolutely no connection to my Briercliffe lot so far.

Thanks Gloria. Not sure though. I can't find him in 1851 but I did find Gabriel as a lodger, census says he was born Hab Eaves. No surprise there really.

I have discounted the Robert I found. I found him in 1851 and he was born in Hapton.

Why didn't they put birthplace and relationship on 1841
